This is how we looked when it really did start raining. These condom-like jackets cost 5,000 Dong, or 16 p and last for as long as it stops raining, but they were effective. Albeit, we were in the countryside and there vwere not so many people buty it was astounding to see how quickly everybody jumped into their plastic sheets/jackets when it did start raining and it is quite possible to enjoy the motorbike ride, especially when sitting behind the driver!
